1. About Buddy

Buddy is a digital pet vaccination and medical-record platform operated by Sonder Africa. Using Buddy means you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be old enough under the laws of your country to enter into this agreement.

3. Households and supporters

Households group your pets and the people who help look after them. As an owner, you decide who has access (family members with full access; supporters scoped to specific pets). You are responsible for the choices you make about who you invite and what you share with them.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Buddy to break the law, infringe other people's rights, distribute malware, or misrepresent yourself. Do not try to interfere with the platform's operation, scrape data at scale, or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.

5. Veterinary records

Buddy is a record-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for veterinary advice. The records you store on Buddy are reflections of what you input. Always consult your vet for medical decisions.

6. Service availability

We try hard to keep Buddy running, but we do not guarantee uptime. Routine maintenance, outages, and changes can affect availability. We will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, ideally with a warning first.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the revised version here with an updated revision date and ask you to re-accept on your next sign-in.
